A really fun way of getting back into shape is by the use of a jogging stroller because numerous fitness exercises can be used alongside the stroller and it does away with having to pay a baby sitter whilst visiting an expensive gym.
Getting back into shape after the birth of your baby can be very difficult and quite often it is hard to become motivated, but by using a jogging stroller, not only will you be introducing your baby the outside world but you will be getting fit at the same time.
Benefits
The benefit of using a jogging stroller to get into shape is that you can begin to exercise quite quickly after giving birth simply by turning a stroll into a total body workout. This also includes baby and gives him the benefit of experiencing the outdoors and fresh air. Walking and pushing the jogging stroller exercises numerous muscles in the body as well as strengthening the upper body and arms.
Socialising
There are numerous fitness classes that have been set up by Stroller Strides and you can use a Bob Stroller Strides stroller or any similar jogging stroller for the exercises. The classes are great fun and are a good way of meeting other mums and their babies.

Stroller Lunges
Using your jogging stroller for support, you can easily do stroller lunges which is a great exercise for strengthening and slimming legs, hips and buttocks. Using your left foot first, take a large step forward. Keep your back straight and tighten abdominal muscles. Repeat the exercise with the other leg and gradually build up the repetitions on a daily basis.
Stroller Squats
Again, use the jogging stroller for support. With your legs shoulder length apart, bend to a squatting position, keeping the back straight. Do as many repetitions as it comfortable.
